Too many data points

I am currently evaluating the trial verison of statistiXL. I'm trying to use the principle components analysis to reduce optical spectra that have been measured for ~ 40 experimental runs. From what I can tell, the spectra should be loaded in rows. The problem is that each spectrum contains 2000 data points which exceeds the 255 columns allowed by Excel 2003. Is there a way around this?

  • The obvious answer is to upgreade to Excel 2007.

  • I should have mentioned that I was hoping to avoid upgrading to Excel 2007.
  • Hi Joe

Lance is right, 2007 is your only real option for breaking the pre 2007 column limit.
